Sundays in Berlin should be spent brunching and browsing one or several of the many flea markets. The people and their companions are often as interesting and bizarre as the wares.

This dog-king paraded around our local flea market in front of the Rathaus Schöneberg, from the balcony of which John F. Kennedy famously proclaimed “Ich bin ein Berliner”. And the crowd went fucking wild.

Among other things, we have scored here: ridiculously pink and flowery cocktail glasses, Paris-like bar stools, a boar skin (it might be a donkey, I am still not sure), place mats, beer trucks and obscene children’s books.

Could this vertically positioned dog be the culprit?
